The rules of the house — how offers, payments and reviews work on Closers. Last updated: September 2026.
1. The platform
Closers is a curated marketplace that connects companies with independent sales professionals. We provide the tools to discover experts, publish offers, exchange messages and settle payments. We are not a party to the agreement formed between a client and an expert.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your profile up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
Clients may operate as individuals or on behalf of a company. Experts must describe their experience, markets and languages truthfully.
3. Offers, bids and contracts
A client creates an offer describing the work and budget. An expert responds with a bid. When the client accepts a bid, the offer moves to In progress and a contract is formed directly between the client and the expert.
Once the expert submits work for review, the client may request changes or close the offer. Closing an offer releases the agreed payment to the expert.
4. Payments and wallet
Clients may top up their balance and withdraw unused funds. Experts may withdraw earnings to their own bank account.
When a client accepts a bid, one hundred percent (100%) of the offer value is held in a locked balance. Neither party may withdraw those funds until the offer is closed or otherwise resolved under these terms.
When the client closes the offer, eighty-five percent (85%) of the offer value is released to the expert and fifteen percent (15%) is retained by Closers as the platform commission.
5. Reviews
After closing an offer, the client may leave a rating and written review of the expert. Reviews must be honest, relevant and free of personal data or abuse.
6. Conduct
Do not use the platform to spam, deceive, circumvent payments, or post unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Work that originates on Closers must be paid through Closers. Arranging off-platform payment to avoid the commission is prohibited.
7. Liability
The platform is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the outcome of engagements between clients and experts, indirect losses, or lost profits.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
